Who or what do you listen to and trust for important decisions in life?

We are all born with innate knowing and insight – the ability to discern what is best for us at any time under any circumstances. This ability is within us, God-given and one of our natural born gifts to help us navigate life, challenges and all things in this world.

With so much going on in the world, and so many voices agreeing, disagreeing, and some trying to create dissension, it’s hard to determine who is telling the truth – who is lying and who just doesn’t know. Some people intentionally lie trying to create division and separate people. They get some sort of validation if they can divide and conquer people. Some people just don’t know what is going on but want to feel important, so they create misinformation and layers of chaos to undermine the entire process. Then others tell the truth as they know it to be. With so many ideas, insights, knowledge and lies, it’s hard to believe much of what is said. This is why your own discernment is so very important.

There are truth seekers, truth deniers, and intentional deceivers. There are paid influencers who don’t care much about any truth but instead look for ‘followers.’ These people create drama, distractions, and division for profit. Again, another reason we need to re-learn how to trust our gut intuition and listen to the inner wisdom of our own hearts.

We have been told for our whole lives to listen to others, trust others, and follow others (especially if they are popular, famous, in positions of power or rich). This systemic issue has created generations of people who don’t know how to discern and decide for themselves.

In fact, even some of our higher education systems don’t encourage the students to ‘think for themselves’ but line up with conventional ‘wisdom’.  We are told ‘don’t rock the boat’ and follow the governing parties. Some are chastised for trying to ask questions, go against the grain or strike out in totally new directions with creative, expansive ideas. What a disservice and crushing blow to innovation and expansive ideas.

The state of our world should be obvious to us all by now! It’s not working in the old ways.  

It’s time to lean into our innate gifts, our innate wisdom, and use the knowledge within to guide, direct and elevate our choices in life. We need to re-learn how to trust our gut instincts and not waiver in our truth and authenticity.

It’s time to take fuller responsibility for our lives, for our choices and for our actions by listening within and getting the direction we need from our Divine spark/God/Prime Creator to fully expand into our lives and live from this wholesome place.
