Introductory Workshop for Yoga & Fascial Release

This workshop is an introduction to releasing and working with your Fascial/connective tissue.  It will aid in recognizing physical patterns of holding in your body.  

In order to release tension and stress in the muscles and connective tissue, we will discuss and target major areas in the body.

Weekend Workshops in Horseshoe Valley, ON

Introduction to Yoga & Fascial Release (4-Hour workshop)

This workshop is an introduction to releasing and working with your Fascia/connective tissue.  It will aid in recognizing physical patterns of holding in your body.  

 In order to release tension and stress in the muscles and connective tissue, we will discuss and target major areas of the body using:

• yoga & yoga therapeutic essentials

• ball & roller therapeutics

• stretching & massage

• conditioning movements

• breath work

When: Saturday May 25, 2019, 1-5 pm

Cost: $90 (includes HST)

 Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. Limited to 10. These workshops are eligible for CEC credits for yoga teachers.

Introduction to the Psoas Muscle (2-hour workshop) 

The Psoas Muscle is a deep, instinctual muscle that holds tension, stress, and activates during our “fight or flight” response. It is considered our main hip flexor but it is so much more.  In our activated, on-the-go lives, it is in constant 'on' mode keeping us safe.  Learn about this instinctual muscle and how to stretch and release it through yoga, therapeutic essentials, and energetics both physical and emotional.students.

When: Sunday May 26, 2019, 1-3 pm

Cost: $60 (includes HST)
