Distractions that keep us from our Purpose

In ancient times, the leaders and rulers of people created entertainment to keep the majority of citizens distracted with circuses & arena events. This course was intentional by the rulers. The more outrageous mental & physical stimulation they could devise would keep people in competition, and totally ego-driven. These distractions were used to keep people’s minds busy instead of allowing them to focus on their hearts, their faith and the upliftment into the best version of themselves.

Rebels and black sheep often rallied against the powers that be, to break the spells and free humanity to elevate themselves into their light and connect with the One Source/Divine/God. They could see the intentional distractions as low-vibrating activities that drain the energy of the masses. These freethinkers were often persecuted and minimized to prevent them from having much influence in the awakening of the people.

In today’s world, there are so many distractions – so many things to pull us in different directions – so many things intentionally put in our view to separate us and keep us off balance.

This is why it is so very critical that we lean in and learn from our own knowing – our own innate wisdom – our God-source within. This wealth of knowledge and wisdom is our birthright and comes to many of us as our intuition.

We have been taught not to listen to our gut. We have been guided against inner reflection & in some cases ridiculed when we tried. We have been taught to look outside ourselves for the answers.

No one knows you or your needs, wants, & dreams better than you!

The shift is upon us all. The push to move back inside – to do our inner work – to understand and know ourselves better – to recognize our triggers. We are being forced to love and accept ourselves as we are and learn to become better through love, forgiveness, humility, faith in Source, and a willingness to recognize our ‘perfectly imperfect’ states.

There is a total upliftment and shift in consciousness that is happening now, and it is opening the door of opportunity for each one of us as individuals to become ‘whole’. As we do our own work, we raise our frequency and vibration, which affects the whole of humanity. The more we take responsibility, become accountable and make the necessary changes to become our best selves – the more expansive, meaningful and real that life becomes. We are all connected. When one of us does our work, all people get the benefits in the collective consciousness. (& when we ignore our work, refuse to take responsibility for our lives, it has a contracting effect on the whole of humanity).

To live authentically, we must trust ourselves and the Divine spark within us. We must live from the Truth of who we are, and that wisdom only comes from within. True teachers and leaders offer guidance and support – but clearly work to inspire and empower you to lean in and trust yourself on your journey.

Occasionally, we all need a break – we need to distract ourselves short-term to allow integration of all we are – all we know – all we learn. It’s vital that those distractions don’t stop you from becoming the Truth of who you are and following the yearning of your Soul’s path in life.

What distractions do you engage in? Do they consume you?

Breathe – rest when you need to – lean in – Integrate and become your best heart-centred Self.
