Discernment
“The act or process of exhibiting keen insight and good judgement.”
We are all born with innate knowing – the ability to discern what is best for us at any time under any circumstances. This ability is within us, God-given and one of our natural born gifts to help us navigate life, challenges and all things in this world.
One of the great disservices in our lives is how we have been emotionally, spiritually and physically beat down into submission. We have been convinced that our ‘inner voice’ – our intuition – is not valid. We have been taught to look outside ourselves for the answers we seek. We are given the message that we are not enough as we are – that we lack the necessary tools to figure things out and make conscious decisions for our highest good. This is such a huge misstep in the evolution of our life purpose – our heart and souls.
We are born perfect, whole and complete with everything we need to make our way in this life. If we could hold onto this truth – we could learn how to work together and optimize the upliftment of frequency, vibration and humanity. It would be a complete, expansive joy-filled life where everyone wins and life grows exponentially.
The question then becomes, why are we not uplifted and encouraged to follow our hearts? I am not laying blame on parents or caregivers; we are all a part of the societal illusion that discernment resides outside ourselves.
There is a systemic problem in our world. There seems to be a collective undertaking to undermine the power and innate potential within each person. That combined with the breakdown of support networks in families, communities, and God tends to drive us further apart into distractions. There are many that profit off the uncertainty, the insecurities and lack of self worth – businesses are built on it.
With discernment, we are able to decide what is ‘right for us and what isn’t’ without being pressured by the crowd to just go along. That is power, to have sovereignty to make our own choices without guilt.
If we could join together and believe in our goodness, our wholeness, our vast potential - with each soul individually bringing their God-given gifts and strengths to the table for the good of all – there is nothing that could stop us. It is the collective power and potential that heralds us as humans. The combined consciousness recognizing a benevolent Source/God that is truly unstoppable.
As we mature, as we navigate life’s beauty and challenges, and we grow into our Purpose doing our inner work, taking responsibility for our lives, we begin to recognize this Truth.
This journey of discovery that will set us free into our fullest possibilities and enrich our lives and all life, is within our grasp. It takes courage to take a step toward this goal. It takes discernment to believe in our innate gifts and to walk away from entrenched beliefs that keep us small. Be willing to be daring. Be willing to own your power and use it for good. Be willing to do your work and trust yourself enough to stand up and own the goodness within.
It’s up to you. Are you ready to take the next step? You’ve got this!
