Ponderings on my Path

I have always loved reading!  I marveled at how people could put their thoughts and ideas down on paper in a way that could inform and move others to listen and potentially believe in something different.

I often write out quotes and ponder ideas and information from what I have read. It challenges me to think and feel outside the box – to let go of what I think I know and open my heart and mind to other possibilities.

In earlier years of growing, my mind was quite closed and made up based on my insecurities and ignorance. My willingness to be vulnerable and open was limited, at best. As the years pass, I’ve surprised myself at what I’ve been willing to receive and consider.  As I mature in my perceptions and ideals, my life and horizons have expanded.

Some things that challenge us to look beyond what we know and believe, can offer a doorway to increased compassion, empathy and understanding.  It doesn’t mean they will change what you think or believe, but in their presence, they may offer clarity in another form.

I’d like to share a few quotes and ideas that have prompted me to pause & reflect. My hope is that they offer you an opportunity to deepen your understanding of yourself, your relationships or your life. Enjoy!

“May the Truth Protect Me in All Ways” Rig Veda

“Her soul is too deep to explore by those who always swim in the shallow end” A. J. Lawless

“Your wound is probably not your fault. But your healing is your responsibility” Shraddha

“No healing happens in our comfort zone” J.F. Barnes

“If you do what you’ve always done, you will get what you’ve always gotten. Change one thing and you change everything” BVD

“Catch on fire if you must, sometimes everything needs to burn to the ground so that we may grow” A. J. Lawless

Take the Knowledge from your Mind down through the Filter of your Heart and Discern what is best for you in this moment

You must feel it to heal it. Breathe into the discomfort and allow the unravelling

We are all connected through the wisdom and love in our Hearts

‘This above all: To Thine own Self Be True’ Shakespeare

When you judge yourself or others, you close your Heart

Become aware of your patterns and ask if they uplift and enhance your life. Then decide

Fear is an emotion that can keep you safe but don’t allow it to rule your Life and keep you small.

One step in a different direction can open you to new roads of awakening. Sometimes that step is a leap of Faith.
